Davido performed with Wizkid on stage in Wizkid’s concert in 2017, Davido and Wizkid have been supporting each other share/advertise their events on Twitter and other media platforms. Three years after appearing on stage together, Davido has shockingly revealed that his compatriot inspired him to do music.
The singer in a live video together with DJ Ecool took us back to when his career began. Said a lot of people had talked so much about the “little” Wizkid and he could not sit down and watch him (Wizkid) take all the glory, so he decided to challenge him.
In the course of the live video, Davido after revealing that he was inspied by Wizkid further played one of Wizkid’s early hit songs – “Holla at yo boy”. The song was Wizkid’s bggest hits at the time, whe he still managed by Banky W, under Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E) founded in 2012. Both Davido and Ecool vibed/danced along as Davido reiterated.
