When asked what the least amount of sleep he played a game on, Kobe Bryant said ZERO sleep. Like the great Michael Jordan, Kobe’s work ethics was on a different level of discipline, hard-work and consistency. He was a beast in that arena of discipline. Between juggling as a father, husband and being the perfectionist that he was, it is no surprising that he has gone days with no sleep and found his way on the court. In Kobe’s words,
“You gotta perform… and so you just gotta go to work man!”
The eighteen-time All-Star has been known to play games with a broken nose and there was a time when he broke his finger while playing a game and they snapped it back in and he continued playing and finished the game with the broken finger. Due to his work ethics, professionalism and zeal to win at any cost, Kobe went as far as learning how to play basketball with his left hand just so he could continue playing and not use his broken finger as an excuse to take time out.
