This one is much more serious, as it is probably the most obvious item on this list. Don’t ever share your credit card details with anyone. If someone asks you to do so online, just back out and don’t do it! Always keep your credit card details to yourself for your financial safety.

When a friend shares some of their beautiful wedding or engagement photos, you feel happy for them and can’t wait to have yours, especially if you are single. Someone then comes into your life who doesn’t mind you including them in your Facebook updates as you two get into a relationship. “In a relationship” becomes your new status on Facebook followed by tons of social media approval with over 200 and wow… you’re excited about it!
Later on, something happens that causes you two to breakup, resulting in a change of status back to “Single”. Your friends start telling you about how he or she wasn’t good enough for you and you start posting desperate status updates saying “You feel happy”, “Inspired” or “Better than ever” just to sooth your broken ego and self-esteem.
Our advice to you is that, it’s okay to keep your relationship status to yourself. It’ll do you more good than harm and will prevent you from the pain of doing “damage control” for your newly “single” relationship status.
- YOUR “TRAVELING TO” STATUS:
It’s understandable that you can’t wait to share the great news about your trip to Hawaii, Paris or Rio de Janeiro with everyone as this will be an awesome brag post! Your friends will like it while others might be jealous. Before posting your upcoming vacation and getaway travel destination on Facebook, here is something you need to know; It may not be only your friends and family following your Facebook updates, robbers might be following your updates as well.
In fact, robbers are the happiest to see travel updates as it allows them to plan and target your home. Moreover some insurance companies reject claims coming from victims of such robberies because when you post a travel update, you inform everyone that your house will be empty, making it easier for your house to become a target. Be wise and be alert.
