Ewube Shows A New Side Of Herself With “chérie Coco”

Ewube is starting 2019 with a new look, new sound and what seems to be a fresh direction for her music career. The last time we heard from the singer was in June 2018, when her label, Omega Records, released “On Mélange,” produced by Mageek Feengaz, with visuals directed by Gerald Guevara.

Since then, Ewube appears to have been working on rebranding herself and has also become much more active on social media, something fans didn’t see as much of earlier in her career.

Now she’s taking things up a notch with her latest song, “Chérie Coco.” The track shows another side of Ewube and gives her a chance to show off the range in her vocals.

The music video, directed by Adah Akenji, also comes with a different look for the singer. Ewube rocks golden hair with bangs, a style and color we haven’t really seen from her before, along with a fitted dress featuring a thigh-high slit. Her choice of colors and overall styling give the video a bolder feel that matches this new chapter in her career.
