Africa’s powerful tech guru Rebecca Enonchong appreciates Eneo Cameroon for making her celebrate her birthday in an elevator due to power cut. Eneo is a company that provides provides energy in Cameroon. Power outages are very common and frequent in most parts of Douala. Many have complained about extensive lengths of time without electricity.
According to Eneo’s official business Facebook page, “Eneo aims to safely provide reliable energy and quality service…” We can say that though it aims to provide reliable energy, it failed in doing so on numerous occassions and not only that, but it made on of Africa’s top female techies celebrate her birthday in an elevator. Even our lead content manager for The HotJem has had his fair share of power outages causing him to sometimes be delayed in publishing a “breaking news” article because Eneo decided to cut off electricity when he needed it the most.
