Twenty-five African countries will benefit from the Apple music expansion. Over the years, most African countries have faced difficulty accessing apple services and that explains why the continent might be behind in music business. However, Apple’s expansion to fifty two more countries will benefit African Countries more.
Apple announced a major expansion of many of its services on Tuesday (April 21, 2020, most notably that Apple Music will now be available in 52 additional countries, bringing it to a total of 167.
Much of that total is centered on Africa, where the five-year-old streaming service will go live in over twenty four countries, tripling the number of nations in which it’s available on the continent.
The various African Countries that have been selected by Apple include: Algeria, Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Liberia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Tunisia and Zambia.
