24 year old Catriona Gray from the Philippines wins the Miss Universe 2018 title which took place this year in Thailand. She stands tall at 5’10” and was crowned Miss Universe by the out going South African 2017 winner Demi- Leigh Nel-Peters. Philippines also won the Miss Universe title back in 2015 which means they are breaking the historic South American winning streak. This years first runner-up is Tamaryn Green from South Africa (who is currently Miss South Africa in 2018).
Imagine if Tamaryn won this years Miss Universe title. She would have been crowned by Demi-Leigh also from South Africa which would have made major headlines in South Africa and would have been a historic and memorable momen. Kudos to South Africa for having a winner in 2017 and a 1st runner up in 2018 for the Miss Universe title. The 2nd runner up is 19 year old Sthefany Yoharlis Gutiérrez Gutiérrez from Venzuela who was crowned as Miss Venzuela 2017. This year’s pageant took place in Thailand.
