The BET Awards took place on Sunday night on June 27, 2021 in Los Angeles, California. Many celebrities came out looking their very best but one celebrity stood out from the crowd – Tanzanian recording artist Diamond Platnumz. Let’s just see say that the Tanzanian star turned up at the BET Awards Show looking like a royal King of Africa. Some even said he reminded them of Wakanda. Diamond made Tanzanians proud with his traditional look!
Fans and spectators were in awe of him from the moment he left the Hotel he was staying at, till the moment he arrived on the Red Carpet. It’s a shame that he lost the Best International Act award to Africa’s Giant Burna Boy. We would have loved to see him accept an award dressed up like this. If there is one thing he did win at last nights award ceremony, it was the fact that he clearly stood out in a positive way.
