Powerhouse African aviation company – Ethiopian Airlines, founded in December 1946 but went operational on April 8, 1946 with just one aircraft (as a joint venture with an American airline), is celebrating a milestone which is her 75th anniversary.
With headquarters in Ethiopia’s nation’s capital of Addis Ababa and being championed by the government of the country, Ethiopian Airlines, formerly known as Ethiopian Air Lines has become more than just an airline. They’re an aviation company currently with 128 aircrafts to their name as of 2021.
With a fully functional branch in Cameroon, Ethiopian Airlines Country Manager Mme. Bezawit Mengesha who has been living in Cameroon’s capital city of Yaoundé for three years has now moved to the economic capital of Cameroon – Douala. She faced the media who had some questions which she provides nothing but insightful and useful info for the media and clients of this Airline.
In an exclusive interview with Ethiopian Airlines Country Manager Mme. Bezawit Mengesha at the Ethiopian Airlines office located in Bonanjo in Douala, The HotJem media outlet asked her several questions to better understand some of the airlines success and challenges.
