Francis Ngannou has lost his UFC championship without losing a fight after being released from his contract by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The former UFC Heavyweight Champion lost his title as his contract was terminated by UFC president Dana White, after failing to come to terms with the UFC on a new deal. White confirmed in a press conference on Saturday that Ngannou is now a free agent.
As a free agent, Ngannou is free to play any sport he chooses. Currently, no African is the holder of any UFC Championship, after Isreal Adesanya and Kamaru Usman all lost their titles last year.
