Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and Argentinian model Georgina Rodriguez are still technically boyfriend and girlfriend since they are not officially married. However, the two can put a hold on tying the knot for as long as they want because even if the couple gets married or not, Georgina will walk away happily taken care of financially.
This is because the couple has a clause that stipulates how much she would be settled with should she not end up with the Ronaldo Both have been dating since 2016, and despite many fan anticipation about a wedding, the star couple are not yet ready to tie the knot just yet, but both are very much enjoying their lives.
According to a report by Portuguese TV Show ‘TV Guia’, Ronaldo and Rodriguez have a secret agreement in place in case they part ways in the future. This agreement will also ensure Rodriguez’s future with her children. She gets a monthly allowance of €100,000 euros from the soccer player. The sum will increase in case of a separation. Rodriguez will further get the La Finca house that is on display on the Netflix reality show, ‘I am Georgina’.
Many fans suspect that Ronaldo’s reluctance to marry might just be the safest way to protect his wealth amid fear of a future separation which could see him lose half of his fortune.
