The rate at which the audio of this song trended, you wouldn’t want ti wait for the video to be available as soon as it could.
The gross anticipation required the master touch of a professional videographer and director, who could carry the weight this song’s message exerts and surely this is why the expertise of a five star director like Dr. Nkeng Stephens was employed.
The video is now available and many reviews have not favored the delivery of the visuals. A friend actually told me how disappointing the video is, and i tried to even cover up, but i realised that saying I’m disappointed too would sound disrespectful to someone’s craft and creativity, worse again when i can’t even hold a camera properly, so i just bend it to say that I’m really not impressed with the video myself.
Nkeng’s delivery in this one is questionable. There is a saying that expectations hurt and this is such a situation. The expectations were extremely high and now many are hurt because the video hasn’t brought that groove and the want-to-watch again feeling. There is just a little cultural display in the song, no traditional meals, no staggering dance steps, but just a modern concept with a white G-wagon that seemed really unnecessary trying to modernise the culture.
