Jeff Bezos Steps Down As Amazon’s Ceo After 27 Years

The recent announcement of Amazon’s creator and CEO Jeff Bezos stepping down has been trending on all major news outlets since it was made public. Bezos who created Amazon 27 years ago has stepped down and handed over the title of CEO to his loyal colleague Andy Jassy.
Jassy, 53, began his first day as Amazon’s CEO on Monday July 5th. He joined the company in 1997 just three years after Bezos founded it. Jassy was the former head of Amazon Web Service. It has been reported that Jeff Bezos stepped down to focus more on his other ventures such as The Washington Post, space travel and more.
