Cameroonian rapper and producer Ndukong Godlove popularly Jovi, continues to trend as he looks to make history in the United Kingdom with his first European show in over a decade.
Jovi’s UK tour has been a major talking point, following his first performance in Manchester. The Mbokogod has remained unbothered after this first performance received backlash. According many fans, the show in Manchester was underwhelming especially for an artist like Jovi.
Tzy Panchak, who has been in Jovi’s bad books, took to his page to recall when Jovi criticised his shows of some few years ago. He went on to call on his fans in the UK, to show up and support the rap artist. However, the post went on to cause a frenzy, as fans and entertainment lovers reacted differently to the gesture.
The next artist to show his support for Jovi’s show is Kocee who also hasn’t been in Jovi’s good books due to their past misunderstanding. Kocee took to his page to past the following:
“You have nothing to prove to anyone, You have done enough, you have inspired Many.
I call on all Kocitizens in the UK Birmingham, London TURN UP FOR THE god August 24th & 31st Love must prevail “- Kocee
Jovi reacted few minutes after Kocee’s post. Here is what he had to post as a response which many have concluded he is responding to the “Credit Alert” singer.
“ANY ARTIST/PERSONALITY I HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH WHICH STEMMED FROM PUBLIC DISRESPECT , KNOW THERE WILL NEVER BE PEACE WITH ME UNLESS YOU APOLOGIZE IN PUBLIC .
LIKE YOU POST ABOUT MY SHOW OR NOT IT WILL WORK . I AM NOT YOUR MATE !!!
BIRMINGHAM AND LONDON UP NEXT
MBOKOVASION UK TOUR
MOSES ENTERTAINMENT ” – Jovi posted
It should be noted that after Manchester, Jovi shall be performing in Birmingham and London, respectively.
Even though Jovi acknowledges the support he has received since going to the UK from his fans, he isn’t welcoming any unsolicited form of support from his ‘enemies’ be it fellow artists or other industry practitioners and will only think of giving peace a chance, if the right thing is done by people who’ve disrespected him publicly.
