Forbes has reported that reality show star and beauty entrepreneur Kim Kardashian is officially a billionaire. When she first graced the cover of Forbes in 2016, she had earned $51 million thanks to her booming mobile game. Five years later, she officially joins the world’s billionaire club for the first time.
Forbes estimates that Kardashian West is now worth $1 billion, up from $780 million in October, thanks to two lucrative businesses – KKW Beauty (her makeup line) and Skims (her shape wear line), as well as cash from reality television and endorsement deals, her fragrance line KKW fragrance and a number of smaller investments.
“But it’s the companies that she has launched herself, and grown with the typical Kardashian flare for self-promotion, that land her on the World’s Billionaires list.”
