Cameroonian Designer Kibonen Nfi had the shock of her life (an amazing one too) when she saw her idol and long time celebrity crush – Oscar Award winner Lupita Nyong’o wearing her outfit made in African Print on the Ellen Degeneres show! Kibonen who made news headlines back in November 2015 when she was featured on the very popular site Humans Of New York (HONY) as seen HERE, had shared her story to the world in the HONY feature that she had made some outfits for a female celebrity who never wore her outfit and this lead to the Cameroonian designer being very, very disappointed as she was almost sure that the “actress” would choose one of the outfits she made for her per the request of the actresses stylist.
Fast forward almost a year later it seems like that “mystery actress” came back into Kibonen’s life in a pleasant dream and this time around wore Kibonen’s outfit on the Ellen Degeneres show as seen in the above picture. Dreams really do come true! So when you think that nothing good will ever happen the way you want it to, that is when your dreams will come true when you least expect it.
