The Mboko Gang movement (created by rapper JOVI) together with ‘Be Period Positive’ and hip-hop artist ASKIA all hit the ground running over the weekend, as they were on the field on November 23 to visit a school in Douala on the project #OneGirlOnePad under theme – ‘A Guide to Menstrual Management For Teenage Girls in Schools‘.
The campaign was initiated by the Mboko Gang crew, together with Be Period Positive to sensitize the female teens on menstrual hygiene management.
The HotJem was there to support the initiative and had exclusive interviews with the front liners of Mboko Gang and Be Period Positive team members respectively.
