As the fight against COVID-19 continues around the world, many civilians, celebrities, rich millionaires and billionaires are continuously joining forces to provide monetary support, food and medical supplies and many other initiatives to help the masses, independent of any government efforts towards eradicating the deadly virus.
Visibly seen on Wednesday April 21 carrying out such duties in various parts of Buea, Cameroon (including visitng a woman’s prison), is African pop singer Daphne Njie popularly known as Daphne, who, through her newly created non-profit foundation called “BE WOMAN by Daphne“, joined forces with soccer legend Samuel Eto’o through his foundations called “Fundación Privada Samuel Eto’o” (translated from Spanish to English as Samuel Eto’o Private Foundation.
Samuel Eto’o’s foundation has actively been playing it’s part in helping various communities in his country Cameroon as well. Last week he announced that his team will be distributing 50,000 much needed face masks. Since then, they have been seen going from city to city providing food, masks and more.
