After the three previous editions held respectively in Cameroon in 2016, in Gabon in 2017 and in Ivory Coast in 2018, here comes the 4th edition of the program. The Corporate Awards, scheduled for November 22nd, 2019 at the Radisson Blu Hotel , Dakar and December 6th, 2019 at the Akwa Hotel Place Douala.
It is a pan-African program whose objective is to celebrate and reward companies that make it a point of honor to respect good HR practices in business
This program is an initiative of FabAfriq PR and led by a board of directors composed of leaders from different sectors. It is a business-only platform for influencing initiatives, promoting best practices and improving human resources management procedures.
The process consists of an online vote by the public, and the internal search follows seven categories of human resource. The winner in each category is chosen via the counting of public votes and by analyzing the content of the internal search .
The last three editions have been marked by the presence of companies from various sectors of activity: Addax Ptroleum, Sobraga Gabon, SUNU Insurance, Continental Reinsurance , Ecobank (Cameroon and Gabon), Biopharma , Yoomee , United Bank of Africa , AG Partners Gabon , Sanofi, MTN Ivory Coast, Brussels Airlines, Belifeetc.
In keeping with its human resources objectives, participating companies are required, after each edition, to review their HR policies and redefine their internal policies to give them a better chance to participate in the next edition organized in their country. The winners are also invited to share their strategies with other companies in order to serve as a reference for ensuring the overall growth of an economy with more effective human resources policies.
Like previous editions, more than 80 companies and extensive international and local media coverage are expected this year. The awards day begins with the Corporate Women in Leadership Summit , a platform where women leaders share their experience with women and men who aspire to be future corporate executives.
The gala evening includes a speech by the director of the board of directors and the presentation of the trophies to the winning companies. It will also be an opportunity to set up international references and commercialize companies in Africa.
