When God favors you, no matter what hairstyle you have on, or if you don’t believe in yourself, or you think the world is out to get you, you will overcome and succeed. But of course you have to put in some hard work and be intentional and consistent with it.
This is why multiple award-winning actress Ndamo Damarise keeps shining bright as she is highly favored and is a star whether you think so or not. One thing we love about her is that, she’s like the girl next door… polite, respectful and approachable.
Our team at The HotJem have communicated with her on several occasions and every time has always been a very pleasant experience. Something we unfortunately cannot say about many celebrities we’ve communicated with in the past.
Ndamo Damarise has been seen working endlessly since her feature in the highly talked about movie The Fishermans Diary that won more awards than three pair of hands can carry, where she played the roles of Teacher Bih Bih, a name that has stuck with her by her fans ever since. She then took a leap into expanding her acting role from movies to the music industry showing her acting skills in Salatiel’s music video starring as Salatiel’s love interest in Anita 3 (a three part song with three music videos) where she played the part of Anita and did a great good job transitioning into the role given that she was not the original Anita in Anita 1 and 2.
She had mentioned that while on set during the making of the video, she had given Salatiel a few acting tips . Maybe that’ is why stepping in and playing the part of Anita in part 3 seemed very natural to her. This would have been a challenge to other who might have felt the need to fill in the big shoes of the person who played Anita in part 1 and 2.
Even after the death of her beloved mother, around the time that she casted for Anita, Ndamo kept herself busy like a trooper and a true professional. She was recently in Nigeria acting a role for a movie called ‘Strangers’ which fans can’t wait to watch. She is already on to the next big thing.. Wait for 2022 as you will be seeing her all over the big screen and we are here for it.
With all the cool movies getting ready to be released in 2021 and 2022 like Love Trap (release date TBD) featuring some of West Africa’s finest actors and Back to Kinship featuring Nollywood actors like Joseph Benjamin and Okawa Shaznay, the future of the movie industry seems even brighter as it continues to reach higher heights. Let’s remember that there is room for everyone to make it big and even Ndamo Damarise knows that. Which is why she stays true to herself, in her lane and is unbothered as she knows what she’s worth and keeps her eyes on the prize.
