Producer… ooops I meant recording artist, Mccoy TWAP releases his debut single titled “African Woman” today on YouTube. The bright and fresh summer song was written, produced and performed by Mccoy TWAP.

The song “African Woman” was motivated by Mccoy TWAP’s mother and all the African women out there who have forged through the challenges of life. Women are true warriors in our society, and with each challenge they grow mentally and emotionally.
The young, yet talented music producer, singer, and songwriter boasts of a soulful voice with a range that most adults are unable to capture. His inspiration and knowledge of great musicians past and present, including Manu Dibango, Petit pays, Longue Longue, Davido and Don Jazzy, all of who have shaped his “Wild Ass” sound.

Mccoy TWAP came into the limelight in 2017, after reproducing and doing instrumentals of hit singles like “Touché Coulé by Hiro, “Calèe” by pop star Daphne and many others which got him the admiration of many and later earned him the production credit to Blanche Bailly’s hit single ” Ndolo” with over 2 million streams on YouTube in 2018.
He is also the producer of Kameni‘s hit single ” Humble” with over 1.5 million YouTube streams. These got him a couple of nominations as “Next Rated Act“ & “Best Music Producer” at the prestigious Urban Jamz Awards 2019 & 2020 respectively.
