Jessica has faced fierce difficulties and accusations during her travels and she also said,
“Navigating the world as a woman can be very challenging. I was accused of being a prostitute. I have had men chase me before; I have been assaulted on the streets”.
In one particular horrible incident, a driver/fixer who Jessica Nabongo had been working with and had grown to trust, invited her to an “Easter orgy” just before he was due to pick her up to go to the airport. “That is something a man will never have to deal with.
She set out to visit all 193 countries in 2016, and on October 6th, 2019, she visited Seychelles, confirmed by a post on her Instagram. She has also clocked up a couple of what the UN refers to as “non observer status” territories, taking her to a total of 195.
