Mosquitoes are probably the smallest in size and statistically the deadliest animals. You might argue against this, but the statistics from the World Health Organization (WHO) for deadly animals will make you cry with disbelief.
According to the WHO, mosquitoes kill at least 725,000 people yearly, even more than wars do.😠
The lifespan of an adult female mosquito is about 42-46 days while that of a male is just 10 days. So practically, female mosquitoes do more and consistent damage than males
In 2015, there were over 296 million cases of malaria reported over the whole world amounting to about 7,31000 deaths with sub Saharan countries like #Guinea and #Liberia being the most affected.
With animals like snakes, sharks, tigers, lions, barely amounting up to 100, 000 deaths annually, the mosquito is five times deadlier than any of the animals listed above.
