Prostitution in Norway is illegal and a criminal act when sexual acts are purchased, but not when sold.[1] The Norwegian law prohibiting the buying of sexual acts came into effect on 1 January 2009, following the passing of new legislation by the Norwegian parliament in November 2008.
Norway also has a 25 year statute of limitation on murder. This means that, if the murder happened more than 25 years ago, they can no longer be charged.
Norway is a Scandinavian country encompassing mountains, glaciers and deep coastal fjords. Oslo, the capital, is a city of green spaces and museums.
Adult Literacy
Adult literacy rate is the percentage of people ages 15 and above who can both read and write with understanding a short simple statement about their everyday life. Norway literacy rate in 2018 stood at 99.00%, a 0% increase from 2015.
