Yesterday March 8, marked the celebration of another International Day of the woman, under the theme “I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights.”
What do you know about the International Women’s Day?
The first ever International Women’s Day occurred on March 19, 1911. It was an inaugural event, which included rallies and organized meetings. It was a big success in countries such as Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
