3. The Manager Must Be Able To Protect The Artist:
As a manager of any artists, nothing matters more than making sure that your artist’s interest is protected. Just like Public Relations, a manager at some point in times puts his life in place of his artists and that’s why their artists are first before anything. The manager has to protect his/her artist and know when to and when not to call shots.
Having a manager who can’t protect your brand is equal to useless. Most often, these people are less spoken about, they are not even known, but they do the real magic. For the most times, their artists are always right no matter what, but they definitely know when and how to back their artists, professionally when they go wrong.
