It’s a shame that it takes self-isolation and quarantining to bring families and loved ones together to have something as simple as breakfast, lunch or dinner on a dining table.
Coronavirus also known as COVID-19, is undeniably going to be one of the most popular words used in the 21st century. If you haven’t heard of coronavirus or COVID-19 yet, then we can only assume that you live on Mars. Ever since coronavirus was declared a global pandemic in March 2020, the world has changed significantly.
What do I mean by significantly? What I mean is, many have lost loved ones to this ruthless and vengeful virus. As I write this article, according to the John Hopkins School of Medicine’s official website, there are:
- 981,221 confirmed cases
- 50,230 total deaths
- 180 countries/regions
The above numbers are expected to change as the website is updated regularly.
Due to the rise and exponential rate at which this virus has been spreading, many countries have placed bans preventing entry into their respective countries via plane, and other modes of transportation. Unless for commercial use such as importation and exportation of goods etc. or other reasons.
