Owens has thrown jibes at popular basketball star LeBron James, saying he’s not supposed to be a role model or idol to black Americans, owing to the fact that he’s not very informed.

In a viral podcast, Candace went really hard on James, saying James doesn’t read books, but always appears with books like someone who actually reads them.

“LeBron James, obviously doesn’t read books. He’s not smart, he’s not clever, he’s not what Kobe Bryant was but he wants us to believe that he is.” – Candace said.

This attack on James came when he was being asked in an interview to review a Malcom X book he was holding, but cleary gave a shallow review that appeared more like he had never read the book before.

This led Candace to conclude that he’s not that smart as he claims to be. She even thinks he only uses these books for marketing and paparazzi.
