Mr. Victor Fotso, a Cameroonian politician, died at the age of 93. Although he was being treated for health related issues, it is not clear what killed the politician.
ABOUT MR. FOTSO
Born in June 1926, in Badjoun, in the West Cameroon Region, he left school at 15 years to work on farms in Foumbot and Bafang. He started in the general trade as a distributor in #Mbalmayo. While on tour in Cameroon, Pierre Castel, met with Fotso and gave him a stocks of wine to sell. This will seal the beginning of a supplier-distributor relationship between the two men which would later lead to a huge profit for them.
He is the founder and owner of several factories: PILCAM, FERMENCAM etc and was a politician and philanthropist. He was mayor of the city of Bandjoun from 1996, after the leader of the Bandjoun Ngnié Kamga until his death in March 2020. He was re-elected mayor in February 2020.
