Model Rikkie Valerie Kolle created history by becoming the first-ever transgender to be crowned Miss Universe Netherlands 2023. Her win means that a man who changes his sex to legally become a woman can win an all female competition like Kolle did.

Many have taken to Twitter and other social media platforms to share their views about this. Many Tweets seem like a lot of people were happy with the results as they said the 1st runner up who was born a female should have won the title.
