How Us Rapper Ludacris Became A Gabonese Citizen

In the last couple of years, many Americans (especially African-Americans) including well known African-American celebrities, have been spotted in Ghana, Nigeria, Gabon and other African countries. The country of interest for most of them to most is currently Ghana as the Ghanaian government has launched “The Year of the Return” initiative which encourages foreigners to visit and settle down in Ghana.

Just recently actor Samuel L. Jackson was in Gabon and became a Gabonese citizen with a Gabonese passport. Hollywood celebs such as Steve Harvey, Jay-Z and Beyoncé recently visited Ghana. Are they planning to relocate to Africa, specifically Ghana? Only time will tell.
