Over the last couple of weeks, Producer/Singer and boss of Alpha Better Records – Salatiel along with many other A-list celebrities from Cameroon have been promoting Peace via their social media accounts. However, regardless of their good intention, many of their fans are upset at these artists saying that their actions came too late! That we need Justice and not peace as Justice brings Peace. (Do you agree or disagree?) However, this has not shaken Salatiel at all. He’s on a mission to do whatever it takes to bring peace to the best of his ability and to use his celebrity status to voice it out. Now he is making even bigger moves by joining forces with Human Rights Activist – Barrister Agbor Nkongho (popularly know as Agbor Balla) as the two were seen in Douala visiting “Internally Displaced Persons” (IDP) who were affected by the “Anglophone Crises” and had to move unexpectedly. Therefore, were internally displaced by the killings of unarmed civilians of all ages, burning of towns, homes and villages, unwarranted arrests, turturing of adults, women and childen.

We believe that actions speak much louder than words any positive move towards bringing about peace is always better than not doing anytime and many of Salatiel fans have challenged all those people who are criticizing Salatiel and the other artists who have put themselves out there to do the little they can do to bring peace or to ask for peace, by asking their criticizers what they themselves have done to make Cameroon a more peaceful country and if they havent done anything then they should stop complaining and pointing fingers. This hasnt stopped many of the stars who are still posting photo’s of themselves holding the “We Need Peace” slogan on their social media pages like Singer Daphne and many others.
