Early morning on December 24th in Ulm, Germany, prominent and multiple award winning Cameroonian Dr. Susan Enjema Aweh popularly known as Dr. SEA died after briefly battling Breast Cancer. Dtor SEA was a highly regarded educator and inspirational speaker as well as a mentor to many in and out of Cameroon. Although she was based in Germany, she was very passionate about health education, ensuring that people (especially those who were least likely to have access to the internet or had limited education had basic health education) and went on a mission to ensure that as many people in Cameroon knew about various diseases, their causes and preventative measures.
Although she held very responsible positions and was looked up to by many youths and by those she treated, to many of her close friends and family as well as those she connected with on her Facebook page, she was a daughter, a sister, a fun and loving person who loved life and wanted to live it to the fullest and lived it doing what she loved the most… trying to make others feel better. She did this via numerous workshops she held in Europe and in Cameroon as well as information and educational YouTube videos that she did in Pidgin English, as well as her official Facebook page called Dr. SEA Initiative which is very rich in medical and health information. Dr. SEA often referred to all her teachings on health and wellness as “Meducate” as she “Meducated” people.
She was a rarity and true treasure. Her gift of knowledge will never be forgotten by the many lives she has saved both as a Medical Doctor, mentor, an educator and positively impacted and will continue to impact via her videos. RIP Doc. 🌼🌼
