Nicki Minaj Mourns The Death Of Her Father

Just a year after her brother was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison for rape of an 11-year old, Nicki Minaj gets hit with another blow as her father Robert Maraj died on Saturday February 13 from a hit and run driver in NY.

TMZ was the first to report this news and has come under attack on Twitter for reporting the death of Nicki‘ s father. Some have taken to Twitter and have gone as far as saying that TMZ should be sued for publicly announcing such private information. Others have come to TMZ’s defense by saying that they are a media outlet that reports both good and bad news on all celebrities and it doesn’t pick and choose who to talk about.

It should be noted that TMZ received confirmation from the Nassau County police in NY about Robert Marsh’s death, which means the popular media outlet did it’s findings before putting the information out there to the public and has been referenced by many other major news outlets.

Minaj’s brother who is serving time in prison for allegations of raping a his 11-year old step-daughter, allegedly did so repeatedly both orally and vaginally about four times a week.
