Another round of Presidential elections is going to take place in Cameroon in October 2018 which means that by now any potential candidate is expected to have made their candidacy known and official. One of such is the current President of Cameroon – H.E. President Paul Biya who on July 13th, 2018 took to Twitter and announced (in English and French) on his Twitter page that he will be running for President in October as seen below:

To date, he has served as President of Cameroon for 35 years since November 6th, 1982 and is running for his seventh time. Previous Presidential Elections that took place during his time in office were in 1984, 1988, 1992, 1997, 2004, 2011, and 2018 (October 2018) so it’s not surprising that many people had something to say and Tweeted their comments back .
