Sometimes A Little Laughter Is All You Need

Sometimes a little laughter is all you need to change the mood. This candid moment between Mbole Ekaney, editor of TheHotJem.com, and photographer Kelly Blaise Achu was captured during a photoshoot in Buea, Cameroon. It was a rainy day, so a little laughter was just what was needed to lighten the mood and keep the photoshoot going.

The photo itself wasn’t planned. According to Mbole, Kelly was usually the person behind the camera and wasn’t particularly interested in being photographed himself. She eventually convinced him to take a few photos with her, telling him he could always delete them if he didn’t like them.

While they were posing, Kelly made a joke that had them both laughing. His assistant happened to capture the moment, resulting in one of Mbole’s favorite photos from the shoot.

What started as a rainy photoshoot turned into a reminder that sometimes a little laughter is all you need to change the mood. The photo wasn’t planned or posed, but that’s exactly what made it memorable. Sometimes the moments we enjoy most are the ones we never planned for.
