Cameroonians were upset today as many of them realized that the results of the 2018 Presidential elections may have been shared to heads of states. This is because the President of Equatorial Guinea, H.E. Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo sent a congratulatory message to President Paul Biya for his re-election before the official announcement of the results.
This angered thousands of Cameroonians across the globe as many of them took to Twitter to express their double dismay at the fact that he won again and for the fact that the people of Cameroon only found out AFTER others seemed to have already known the results. President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo, who is the incumbent President of Equatorial Guineas, has been so since 1979. So beta noh dey follow that country as well. However, Equatorial Guinea has seen a tremendous growth and has progressively developed over the last 25 years, attracting investors, tourists and many others who want to or have pursued work opportunities there. So from an economic stand point, they are in a pretty good place but can do better.
