Below is the ENGLISH VERSION of Cabral Libii’s Letter to Brenda Bi
«Brenda my dear compatriot,
You are the first girl of Cameroon. You will not loose this place until the day you get married, because then as a lady; you will be ranked second after your mother.
You certainly remember the sincere letter of support which I wrote to you on February 8, 2016, when you had decided unexpectedly to speak out publicly, and denounce the racism that you had frightfully undergone there. Far away, in the United States where your dad, our President for more than thirty years, expatriated you for your studies. Let me begin from the moment when I decided to give you my support again which, you can believe me will remain unfailing, I must, like I said, reiterate to you all the same, that your daily life and that of your brothers, still remains the least of worries for Cameroonians who have better fish to fry, pending the completion of your dad’s great achievements and probably the great finishes of the next mandate.. However, it turns out that a few fellow compatriots in bid to get rid of boredom, regularly dwell on your fate on social media networks, leaving in passage the horrifying impression of reveling in your mishaps. The facetious!
Precisely with regards to these mishaps, all indications are that 2016 did not bring thee only happiness. But I fear that you also be the cause of this. After all, to be as wise as Dad, it takes time and perhaps even time in power… You naively thought you were doing the right thing, coming out of your distant anonymity by revealing to the world at the beginning of the year your story of racism, to which you inappropriately shared gross information such as; you resided at a hundred kilometers from your university and that your taxi fare is 200,000 FCFA per day. Behold, we now see photos circulating on the internet which are supposedly that of your princely home. I doubt that your father, who is said to have always been sober, rigorous and ethical, presenting him as the one who, dreading binge drinking and extravagance at the highest point, persecutes his predatory Ministers throwing them into prison, I doubt, I sincerely tell you, that this man can give such an education to his only daughter. My Paul BIYA whom I know cannot have spoiled children. No!
Be reassured, if at first I accepted badly that he, Mr. President, since almost my birth, should expatriate his own children to study in foreign educative systems, I’ve finally come to understand that it was again through wisdom. He wanted you away from this country plagued by his inert, immoral, selfish collaborators, incapable of keeping to road maps. He did well. There at least had to be one normal child of renewal left, in the morning story ends.
But sister how will you return to him? I know nothing more. Wicked Internet users say about you things that leave me in despair. Fortunately, the drug story has been refuted by others than you. Thank God. I do not even dare to give credit to the balderdash which makes you look like a fierce knife maniac. You see, some bad tongues even have it that it is the curse of the suffering of Cameroonians that is falling on you. Poor you, my sis! Fortunately mom is very religious; an uncle in the presidency even opened the Pentecostal chapel of Christ’s glory in Yaoundé. Just follow their tracks. And you will see the glory of God.

Just know that you have done nothing wrong in Cameroon. And the future holds your place too. But in a situation where dad is not President until the end of the world, you will have to earn this place. So enjoy your social situation wisely and intelligently. Make those who blame you nonsense lie. And remember that at Dad’s age unbecoming behavior can lead to the worst health wise. So, be wise as dad and you will live long like him. With a little luck, you might even end up as President of something.
Good luck » -END
Cabral Libii Li Ngué launched his “11 million registered voters” Presidential campaign, in the following statement below:
“Thousands of my compatriots have called me to preside over their destinies. This authentic “call of the people” honors me. I feel on my shoulders the heaviness of the responsibility of an elected man of hearts and reason. Thank you in all humility. The electoral triumph of new ideas on which we will grant ourselves when the time comes, and of new men at the coming deadlines, imposes upon us now, a deep commitment. The goal on 1 January 2018 is to have an electoral body of at least 11 million registered voters. Let’s get to work”.
