Major crises at Buckingham Palace as coronavirus hits the Royal Family. Prince Charles, the heir to the British throne, has tested positive for coronavirus and is now self-isolating in Scotland, his office announced Wednesday.
According to CNN, Prince Charles took the test on Monday March 23 and got the results back on Tuesday March 24. The 71-year old Prince seems to be in good spirits and is working as usual. They are not sure how and when he got the virus but according to CNN, they believe he may have been contagious at the time he was at a public event with his mother, Queen Elizabeth II on March 12. He has since has some private meetings with various individuals, all of whom have been notified of him being positive.
The Queen and her 98-year old husband Prince Phillip are said to be fine and have been in isolation since Thursday. Prince Charles team are working on how he got coronavirus and who he has been in contact with ever since. Prince Charles is said to be the busiest and meets the most with people in than public than the rest of the royal family.
Wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, is self-isolating separately and is said to have tested negative.
