In international news, the famous 850 year old Notre Dame Cathedral popularly located in Paris, France and visited by millions of people from all over the world every year, was burnt down today and the iconic spire has fallen as a result. According to CNN, it took 400 firefighters to bring the fire under control.
A part of Paris’ History almost gone just like that! Hopefully some of you were opportune to have visited the Cathedral during your trip to #France. Thankfully the Cathedral has been saved from “total destruction,” according to a French fire official, after a massive fire ripped through the structure today (April 15th) which caused the roof and main spire to collapse.
The timing is very unfortunate as this happened a week before Easter and you can imagine the thousands of people in France and from around the world who were going to travel to Paris to attend Mass on #Easter Sunday at the famous Notre Dame Cathedral.
