The new week has come and the old week has gone. Gone but it didn’t do so without leaving us with some mind blowing happenings during the weekend. The weekend wasn’t all fun but there was a lot to still wonder about. The following were most talked about over the weekend.
Nabstar TV talking to the Stars
Friday nights are a tradition and the show from #Mevo is always a must watch because it digs deeper than you can ever imagine. Nabstar aka Nabil4real hosted some top rappers around the country and it was all hot.
Rappers Ko-c, Big G Baba, Neglect Buri and producer Dijay Karl and little singer Mayorchu whose eloquence and vibrancy are a topic for another day all were at Nabstar radio.. For now we can focus on more talking points and it were discussions geared towards building a better industry.
Big G, who’s always been known for his directness and straight forwardness didn’t hesitate to hit hard and school many to flee hypocrisy but the main talk of the night would be Dijay Karl’s confession after he was put on a hot seat. The latter after being asked what his contribution to resolving the beef between Jovi and Stanley Enow and he immediately confessed that Stanley had already promised to call Jovi because there is a beat he would love Jovi to step on. It is clear that everyone is tired of the beef and bad energy in the industry already.

MINAC the Breaks Heart of Artists
Over the weekend, the Ministry of Arts and Culture threw a heartbreaking communication at the Cameroonian artists with a left hand and it didn’t go down well with the nation’s artists. A bill that will altogether compress the works and efforts of artists and seize their freedom of excelling as they’d love to. It has not been fun since the weekend broke and many took to their social media handles to condemn the communique many have labeled a “selfish and baseless bill”.
However, can the artists and other industry stakeholders cause the Ministry to overturn their heartless decision?
Salatiel to Feature in Beyonce’s “Black a King” Movie.
Still over the weekend, Alpha Better Records boss Salatiel revealed during a session with Sweet FM that he will together with other African artists who featured Beyonce’s Lion King – The Gift Album, be featuring in her latest movie titled “Black a king” which will be premiering this July.
It can be said that Salatiel is gradually reaping the fruits of hard work he has employed in his career. This news has been received with so much optimism by the fans and media.

Young vibrant and determined rising rapper – Wezniz Runner as he’s known by many Released his long awaited “on ne blague pas” track which graced the industry with maximum hope. He spits fire and is sheepishly following Ko-c’s footsteps.
Magasco featuring Lady Ponce threatens to break the media
BBoy Record boss Magasco invited Bikutsi queen Lady Ponce to collaborate and do a remix to his song Nyang Nyang, a song from his latest album. This remix has gotten exciting reviews and we think you should as well check it out.
