With the rise of social media and technology, most of these efforts to put an end to the crises have been online and virtual. Many have especially mounted pressure on the most influential Cameroonian citizens to voice out their dismay of the crises going on in the country or to protest against it.
It is fair to say many tried their best to end to the violence, but why were their voices not heard or were they undermined? We know they tried their best but we think learning from other countries who had been here before can do a great deal, and Ivory coast is one we have taken into consideration because it has some similarities with a country like Cameroon.
Why have musicians been pressured by most people to stand against the violence? Did they cause the violence?
The above question is a question that many have asked. Why do people hold artists and musicians responsible?
Following what Ivory Coast went through, and how they attained peace, it prompts lovers of music to believe Cameroonians with their talent can contribute to the achievement of peace.
