It’s Wednesday and we’re crushing on actress Ndamo Damarise B who has been trending since the release of the video for the song ‘Prisonnier’ because of the great job she did in that video – a song off of Salatiel’sAfrican Represented album. The video is at almost 260,000 views in less than four days.
It’s amazing how ones acting skills can come to play in something as simple as a music video. The fact that many did not immediately even notice at first glance that Ndamo Damarise B was playing the role of Anita in this video is what makes the video special. Of course we know some noticed but many have said that she easily transitioned into that role and played it naturally.
Don’t forget that Prisonnier is part 3 of a three part video series for Anita and in the first two videos, Anita was played by a lady named Floxy. This is why we say learn your craft! It can take you places you never expected and it can put you in areas you didn’t plan for. If someone had told Damarise that she would be the lead vixen in one of the High Man General Salatiel songs, she might have said no way, I am an actress who does movies and TV Shows. Now see how she’s enjoying the success of the video for his song (partly because of her really good acting skills as well as the fact that it’s a beautiful song).
This is why we keep saying (we said this in our post yesterday as well on Instagram) that, you can be very talented but if you are not ready when an opportunity comes knocking at your door like this one came to Damarise, then your talent means nothing! Keep rising girl! You’ve got this.
