When you think of Makeup Artists aka MUA’s, you obviously imagine their world filled with colorful makeup of every shade you can imagine and always being perfectly made up and you ask yourself, do the female MUA’s ever have a bad makeup day or ever not look flawless or do they just luckily have beautiful skin despite their faces constantly being in contact with makeup, a lot of which they try out for personal and maybe paid reviews and to add to their vast collection or not.
We decided to ask one of our favorite international and professional MUA’s – Tiphanie of Tiphanie Makeup who recently moved to Cameroon and whose background is of Congolese/Belgian origin, how she manages to keep her face and/or skin always looking so radiant, flawless and with a glow to top it off despite the massive heat and humidity. Believe it or not, her regimen is VERY simple and straight to the point! If you don’t believe me, then here is what she uses to maintain her fabulous look:
- She first uses Black Soap to wash her face (see benefits of Black Soap)
- She then uses a Toner from Nivea (see benfits of Toner)
- She applies some Clinique moisturizing lotion or simply Shea butter (see benefits of Shea Butter)
Prior to applying her makeup she would normally use a primer and then it’s makeup time!
That’s it ladies. Just three simple steps. There is no rule that says you must use the most expensive products to look good because you don’t. In case you’re wondering, Tiphanie has dry skin but ever since she moved to Cameroon not long ago, she said her skin “is trying to find its right balance.” OK Tiphanie to us you always look perfect so you have nothing to worry about as we didn’t even notice! Thank you for the skin care tips and we can’t wait for more tips from you. 🙂
