Black South African Gets Crowned As Miss Universe

Zozibini Tundi who simply goes by the name Zozi, has been crowned as the new Miss Universe 2019. The 26 year old South African is the first black woman to win with Afro-natural kinky hair. Her win proves that BLACK GIRLS DREAMS ARE VALID!

SOME FUN FACTS ABOUT ZOZI:

1. Zozi is a 26 year old model who graduated in 2018 with a Bachelors in Public Relations and Image Management.
2. Zozi is the 3rd South African to win the Miss Universe title, the 1st black to be crowned Miss Universe since since Leila Lopes win in 2011.
3. Zozi is also the first black to win the Miss Universe title with afro-like natural hair!
4. In 2017 she came in the 26th place for the Miss South Africa title and won the Miss South Africa 2019 title in August 2019.
5. It is the first time for Miss Universe competition to be held at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia.
