A source confirmed to TheHotJem.com that Naira Marley’s show in Cameroon has been postponed. It was originally scheduled to take place in Buea on Monday February 14, however, in what seemed to be a very last minute decision, two days ago, the venue was changedfrom Buea to Limbe.
Although no confirmation was provided on reason behind the last minute change in venue, rumors have been circulating that the capacity of the venue in Buea could not contain the high number of Marlians (Naira Marley fans) who will be attending the concert.
Today, the singer apologized to his Marlians and confirmed that the show would be postponed, whatever that means. We also know his concert will no longer take place in the South West Region and will be moved to Douala when he does finally perform and resulting in two venue changes.
Does this mean he will fly back to Naija then come back another tome or will he perform next week? What is Naira’s own when he’s probably already been paid?
The Nigerian star is having fun smoking blunts in his 5-star hotel room since he will no longer be performing today. Was it too good to be true or was it obvious that Cameroonians would try to sabotage today’s show in their quest to ban foreign artists?
Regardless of the reason, music lovers have other options for shows and concerts to attend as others shows are going on right now in the country like Fally Ipupa’s concert, Ko-C’s show in Kumba, and Kowan’s show in Bamenda.
