The outbreak of the Covid19 declared by the World Health Organization has hit the world in such an unprecedented way. The world’s activities have slowed down in various domains and the situation does not look like it will change anytime soon.
Majority of countries all over the world including the world’s super powers have been hit tremendously by the novel corona virus that the fight to put an end to it is endless at the moment.
African Pastors followed by many, instead of bringing a solution to their followers seem to be causing more harm than good with either failed predictions or unverified teachings are seemingly misleading.
It can be said that like any other thing being affected by COVID-19, Christianity has been hit really hard by the outbreak and the religious preachers have made the situation even worse.
This aspect has made many to begin to wonder whether they are rather moving from grace to grass.
During the early days of the outbreak of COVID-19 this year in Africa, Popular Nigerian Pastor and head of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) – Prophet T.B Joshua, on a Sunday service in his church, predicted that the virus will disappear on March 27, 2020. This based on his claim that God had told him that, that was how the virus would disappear.
The Pastor had initially stated that the world would continue to suffer from the pandemic toll March 27.

March 27 passed without any results and the world up till now is still increasingly suffering from the spread of the virus. In fact, the situation got worse than it was initially.
