Pharmaceutical giant #Pfizer made headline news last month when it announced that its COVID-19 vaccine was approved for use by the FDA. The FDA has declared that it is safe and effective for use based on data from clinical trials run by Pfizer. However, they warned that after the 2nd shot of the vaccine, some side effects might occur such as chills, headaches and other mild COVID symptoms as everyone will react slightly differently but nothing too concerning.
According to the Associated Press, the Canadian government has purchased 2 million doses of Pfizer’s vaccine as Canada’s health regulator approved Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine yesterday, December 9. Canada is set to receive up to 249,000 doses this month and 4 million doses of the vaccine by March 2021.
