Ivorian Prime Minister Dies In Germany

The president of Ivory Coast announced in the later hours of Wednesday March 10, 2021, the passing of the Ivorian prime minister Ahmed Bakayoko who is reported to have given up the fight against cancer.

Bakayoko died of cancer in Germany where he was getting treated at age 56. His death marks the second time within a year that the country’s prime minister has died in office due to illness.
