If you’ve ever wondered what you had to do to get verified on any social media platform, one thing for sure is that those who usually get verified are well known public figures, celebrities, popular brands and popular influencers to name a few. However, there are others who are verified with a smaller number of followers and some poeple have never understood how they got it.
Rest assured as now, maybe you might stand a chance of getting verified… that is, for a fee. After firing top four Twitter executives in less than a week, Twitter’s new CEO, Elon Musk, seems to be flirting with the idea of “selling” the blue check! Musk says,
“Twitter’s current lords & peasants system for who has or doesn’t have a blue checkmark is bullsh!t.”Read his posts in the screenshots below about his plans to make the blue check more accessible to many and not just the priveledged few aka “lords”.
It seems like things are going to really change on Twitter as the Tesla boss is about to make some major changes on Twitter now that he has taken over.
QUESTION: Will you buy a blue check?
